Who can join the Merchant Navy?
Anyone who has passed 10th or 12th grade with a strong interest in physical fitness, discipline, and adventure can join. For GP Rating (Y-Grade) or entry-level positions, 10th pass students (with English, Science, and Math) are eligible.

What is GP Rating?
GP (General Purpose) Rating is a pre-sea training course that prepares candidates to work in both Deck and Engine departments. After completing training, candidates can join as Deck Crew or Engine Crew and later get promoted with experience.
